Dornoch, 3 Castle Street, Gleann Colliadh

House (early 19th Century)

What is recorded here

Gleann Colliadh is a quiet Highland valley where Dornoch still stands. Number 3 on Castle Street is an early nineteenth-century house, small enough to forget but old enough to remember the valley before roads changed it. A person may have lived there, raised children, or watched weather move across the hills. The valley does not need a warning label; it is the kind of place that stays inside a person long after the visit ends.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Dornoch, 3 Castle Street, Gleann Colliadh as House (early 19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
