Dolor Point is a sea cliff headland in Cornwall, composed primarily of Devonian slate and schist. These rocks formed around 400 million years ago through regional metamorphism of sedimentary layers, and the area is notable for its resistant rock formations that have withstood coastal erosion, creating a prominent coastal landmark.
