Dolbadarn Castle is a nineteenth-century schooner recorded at Toward Point in the upper Firth of Clyde, Argyll and Bute. The name suggests a small craft that worked the narrow water, carrying people, goods or messages between places now lost from memory. Toward Point still stands where the firth bends, but the castle has vanished into salt, time and forgetting.
