Dinedor Hill rises to approximately 199 metres (653 feet) above sea level and is part of the Malvern Hills geological formation, composed mainly of ancient Silurian greywacke. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) due to its limestone grassland and rare flora, and it has historical significance as a location associated with early Christian activity in the region.
