Die Krone

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Die Krone as Wreck from the Ôl-ganoloesol period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
Die Krone was a 17th-century merchant vessel that wrecked off the coast of Wales during a storm in 1628. The ship was carrying a cargo of timber and iron, and while no lives were lost, the wreck is significant as an example of early modern trade routes and shipbuilding techniques in the region.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
