Diarmait Mac Murchada

Diarmait Mac Murchada was born around 1110 in Leinster, County Dublin, Ireland, entering the world as the son of Donnchadh mac Murchada and Órlaith ingen Ní Bhraonáin. He later became King of Leinster, a title he held until his death in 1171. His life remains marked by the dramatic events that followed his deposition, including the invitation of foreign forces that reshaped Irish history.
