What is recorded here
Terraced gable-fronted three-bay three-storey former warehouse, built c. 1835, now in use as hair salon and shop. Pitched corrugated asbestos roof with cast-iron downpipe. Red brick walls. Replacement uPVC windows to first floor and timber shopfront to ground floor.
This building forms part of an interesting group with the former industrial buildings in French Church Street and Carey's Lane. These buildings contribute to the unique character of the narrow streets in this part of the city, due to the distinctive industrial form of the buildings and the materials utilised in their construction.
