Devil's Tor is a prominent rocky outcrop in West Devon, rising to approximately 350 metres. It is composed of Devonian slate and is associated with local folklore involving the Devil, a common motif in Cornish and Devonian hill names. The site is significant for its geological interest and as a landmark in the Dartmoor fringes.
