Half-buried in grass on a low drumlin in County Leitrim, Dermot & Grainnes Bed still holds its huge roofstone across two leaning portal-stones. The chamber is narrow, dark and overgrown, with no cairn left to mark it, yet the stones remain standing after centuries of rain and forgetting. Whoever laid them trusted the earth to keep their dead safe without praise or monument, and the field has obeyed that quiet request ever since.

Located towards the top of the E-facing slope of a low drumlin. This is an overgrown rectangular chamber (dims c. 3m N-S; 1-1.3m E-W) consisting of two damaged portal-stones (H 1.2m; 1.7m) and a sillstone at S, with two sidestones, and a backstone which has fallen inwards. The roofstone (dims c. 2.8m x c. 1.9m; T 0.3-0.5m) rests on the portal-stones. There is no evidence of a cairn. Portal dolmen; likely dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. Its significance lies in its association with early megalithic funerary traditions in the region, reflecting communal burial practices and stone monument construction.
