Dairsie Castle, located in Fife, Scotland, was originally built in the 14th century by the Lindsay family, a powerful noble lineage in medieval Scotland. The castle is historically significant as it was the site of the murder of James V of Scotland's half-brother, Alexander Stewart, Duke of Angouleme, in 1529, an event linked to the political turmoil of the time.
