What is recorded here

Gateway, c.1880, comprising pair of limestone ashlar panelled piers with moulded cornices, cut-stone capping, and wrought iron double gates having finials (one gate now missing). Set back from road in grounds shared with Curraghmore House.
An attractive gateway of simple appearance incorporating fine stone work to the piers, together with early surviving iron gates, which enhance the design quality of the composition.
