Seven cups and a bent line mark the hill brow above Lough Hyne, watching the water like a ridge-backed animal. The stone sits in a field fence, not hidden in moss or myth, as if people kept returning there to measure, remember or warn. Its small cups may have held oil, water, milk or nothing at all, but the repetition makes them a language. To stand beside it is to be answered: some things are not buried, only waiting for eyes that can read them.

On brow of hill, on W side of Lough Hyne; in field fence marking townland boundary. Rock outcrop, overlooking cupmarked standing stone (CO150-028002-); decorated with eleven cupmarks (max. diam. 0.07m) and an L-shaped depression.
