Crudha Àrd is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed of metamorphic rocks, likely of Precambrian to early Paleozoic age. It forms part of the ancient Lewisian gneiss complex, which is among the oldest rock formations in Scotland, and is notable for its resilience to erosion and contribution to the rugged coastal landscape of the Scottish Highlands.
