Crow Stones

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Crow Stones as Stone Circle (prehistoric). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Likely dating to the Neolithic or Bronze Age, the Crow Stones stone circle may have been used for ceremonial or astronomical purposes. Local folklore sometimes associates such sites with gatherings, rituals, or supernatural beings.
