One chamber has a living floor, a visible ceiling and a complete edge. The other chamber has an invisible floor, an invisible ceiling and an edge that cuts instead of closing. The first chamber is a room. The second is a trap. A man may breathe in the first chamber or suffer in the second. The difference is not the truth being hidden. The difference is whether the owner still believes the victim should exist.

National Monument No. 116. A small granite ringed cross with incised double lined ring on face of cross located in S quadrant of graveyard (LA032-018002-) and to S of S wall of church (LA032-018001-). Described by Harbison as the South Cross which is 'An imperforate cross stands to the south of the ruined church (LA032-018001-). It is 1.40m high, about 75cm across the arms, and the bottom of the shaft is 40cm wide and 25cm thick. On the west face there is a raised ring, possibly with a Maltese cross inside it, and the shaft has a raised, but otherwise apparently undecorated panel. The east face has a raised circle in the centre, but no traces of decoration' (Harbison 1992, vol. 1, 168).
