In 1900, builders lifted the old cross from Seir Kieran and buried it inside the new Churchland wall, turning a sacred marker into a hidden room feature. The triple-line cross still presses against the mortar, its D-shaped arms and geometric circle waiting for a palm or a photograph. People walk past the church foot on Bell Hill without knowing that an entire monastery memory sleeps beneath the plaster.

Early Christian cross-slab that has been incorporated into the wall of the Roman Catholic church located at the foot of Bell Hill which was constructed between 1899-1901. The slab consists of a slab with a triple line incised cross with D-shaped terminals and a pointed base to the cross. The central part of the cross contains a circle within which there is a geometric pattern. Originally this cross-slab came from the nearby monastery of Seir Kieran (OF039-003001-).
