Cross-slab (present location) in Carrigafreaghane

This cross-slab (L 0.53m; Wth 0.24m; T 0.06m) was found in the main ecclesiastical complex on the NE peak of Sceilg Mhichíl and is now in the care of the OPW (National Monuments Depot, Killarney). The slab, which tapers towards one side of its lower end, features an equal armed Maltese cross (0.12m x 0.12m) defined by a pockmarked groove (Wth 0.01m).
