Cross-slab in Sceilg Mhichíl

De Paor (1955, Fig. 2) noted a cross-slab (No. 30 on Fig. 2) standing a short distance SW of the cistern which De Paor thought was a Man-made underground passage (KE104A001055-). This possible cross-slab was not located in 1978, the year conservation works commenced on the island by OPW, nor has it subsequently been found (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 290, no. 948 (81)).
