What is recorded here

Cooscroneen holds a small rectangular sandstone slab atop a cairn, marking a forgotten religious threshold in West Cork. A Greek cross appears inside a shallow circle on its weathered face, inviting wonder about the person who cut it and the prayers spoken beside it. The stone survives long after human tongues and tools disappeared, preserving only the shape of devotion.
