Cross (present location) in Carrigafreaghane

This stone cross (L 0.2m; Wth 0.09m; T 0.03m) was found in the main ecclesiastical complex on the NE peak of Sceilg Mhichíl and is now in the care of the OPW (National Monuments Depot, Killarney). It displays two short rounded arms, one higher than the other, and each having slightly rounded angles underneath. Part of the head is missing. The lower end of the roughly rectangular shaft narrows to one side. The SMR number at its original location on Sceilg Mhichíl is KE104A001142-.
