Clochán na hEaglaise stands as a circular corbelled drystone hut on a steep SE facing mountain slope in County Kerry. Tradition claims mass was said inside during the Penal Times, suggesting the hidden chamber served worship when open churches closed. A cross-inscribed stone recorded near the site has vanished, leaving only the hut and the mountain wind to preserve the memory of secret prayer.

There is a tradition that mass was said here in Penal Times (An Seabhac 1939, 227), but the possible cross-inscribed stone KE034-015002- recorded by the CKFC (1949) could not be located.
