Half a metre of grey stone stands on the southwest edge of the Monks' Graveyard, its flat head and short rounded arms carving a linear cross into the rock. The enclosure suggests a quiet belief that even death needs a visible marker, yet the small size leaves room for wondering whether it marked one person, a family line, or the graveyard itself. Rain wears the edges smooth while the shape holds firm, proving that clarity matters more than grandeur when living people stop to remember.

Cross described in 1996 as follows; 'This stone cross forms part of the SW side of the Monks' Graveyard [KE104A001046-]. On the exposed face is an encircled linear Latin cross. H: 0.56m. W: 0.47m.
