What is recorded here

One arm is missing, the head is flat, and the stone still stands beside the oratory on the upper terrace. It is not grand in height, but it is clear in shape: a large cross, broken once and left exposed to the sky. People may have passed it for centuries, reading its gap as loss or readiness. What is certain is that it remains where it was described, holding its angle on the Kerry land.

Cross described in 1996 as follows; 'This large stone cross lies close to the oratory [KE104A001040-] on the upper terrace [KE104A001105-]. One of its rather short arms is broken off; L: 1.3m W: 0.34m T: 0.08m' (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 289, no. 948 (71)). The cross features a flat head and is now standing upright in this location.
