Half-buried in the Monks' Graveyard, the broken cross still marks the edge of death. Its short rounded arms and chipped head suggest a violent making or a longer forgetting. The graveyard may have swallowed more than one life before the stone itself began to disappear.

Cross described in 1996 as follows; ''The head of this stone cross, which forms part of the SW side of the Monks' Graveyard [KE104A001046-], is broken. H: 0.83m. W: 0.34m. T: 0.09m' (O'Sullivan and Sheehan 1996, 289, no. 948 (45)). The cross features short arms that have rounded angles. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
