Kill of the Grange graveyard holds a broken circular granite disc bearing a sunken Greek cross and an empty socket, perhaps once fitting a lost column or marker. The disc sits among older church ruins, a holy well and font on a low green rise near Kill Abbey road, suggesting the lane and burial place formed one living Christian landscape. Its smooth round edge and shallow carving make it less like a monument than a tool of memory, inviting people to complete what time removed.

Situated on a low rise, in a green area, NE of Kill Abbey road, in Kill of the Grange graveyard (DU023-015002-). Granite cross-inscribed stone described by Ó hÉailidhe (1959, 207) as consisting of 'a flat circular portion six inches thick, one edge of which has been broken away. On the face of this is a slightly sunken Greek cross, and above the cross an open socket four-and-a-half inches [0.11m] wide and four inches [0.1m] deep. On the back of the circular portion is a rough bulbous lump nine-and-a-half inches [0.24m] long, ten-and-a-half inches [0.26m] wide and protruding five-and-a-half inches [0.14m]. This part seems to have been intended to be built in out of sight, and, presumably, in this position, and with the socket to the top, the stone could be used as a corbel. The cross can be compared with that cut on the underside of the lintel of Killiney Church [DU026-013001-]'. Cross fragment described in 2009 as follows; 'A cross is located within the graveyard (DU023-015002-) it consist of a flat circular granite disc (Diam. 0.41, T 0.15m). On the face of the disc is a shallow recessed Greek cross (Wth 0.23m) and above this is a sub-rectangular socket. On the back of the stone a possible stone head protrudes (Swords 2009, 110). The site is located within a complex which includes a pre-Norman church with a late medieval chancel (DU023-015001-), a graveyard (DU023-015002-), a holy well (DU023-015003-) a bullaun stone (DU023-015007-), a cross-inscribed stone (DU023-015006-), a stone font (DU023-015009-), the base of a stone cross (DU023-015008-), and two crosses (DU023-015004) from the former laneway into the graveyard which are now in the care of the OPW in Trim, county Meath.
