What is recorded here

Kilbrannish South holds a small cross-shaped stone, half a metre tall and thirty-five centimetres across its arms. It stands near the northern edge of the graveyard, aligned north-south, small enough to overlook yet distinct enough to mark the place. The stone may have guided mourners, recorded a name now lost, or simply divided sacred ground from ordinary earth. Its precision suggests someone shaped it deliberately, even if the event that prompted the work has faded from memory.
