Creigiau Cochion is a sea cliff composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and shale, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago through sedimentary deposition and subsequent tectonic uplift. It is notable for its exposure of ancient marine rocks that provide insight into the geological history of North Wales.
