Crannog in Lough Kinale is a submerged or hidden lake dwelling. It is no longer visible as a built island, but the water and lake bed may still cover its remains. The saved description points to a real crannog in County Longford, not an invented place.

Among reeds along the shoreline of Lough Kinale, at the junction of the original outflow of the Inny River into the lake. A slightly dry area, with some rounded stones, may represent a small platform crannog (Fredengren et al. 2010, 131, Fig. 4.1, no. 4). There is a settlement platform (LF011-067002-) to the ESE.
