What is recorded here

Knocknalappa holds a crannog, an artificial island built among reeds and water. The name still sounds like a living place even when the land has forgotten the shape of its rooms. People may have stood at its edge in rain, watching ducks leave ripples across the surface. What is missing is not emptiness. It is an invitation to imagine the life that once moved through it.
