Crannog in Kilwarry is a small island in Columcille Lough that Kinahan called a stone crannog in 1889. It remains unvisited and unknown in its true shape, perhaps a drowned kitchen, a burial ring or a child’s make-believe castle thrown into water. The lake keeps what the land forgot.

Kinahan (1889, 281) suggested that a small island in Columcille Lough is a 'Stone crannog'. It was not inspected on this occasion.
