Crannog in Killeen (ballynahinch By.) is a hidden lake dwelling in Ballinafad Lough, County Galway. Kinahan saw a stone circle and tiny central island when water dropped, suggesting people built a home above the wet darkness. The lough keeps that chamber now, waiting for rain to leave and memory to return.

In the northern of the two portions which make up Ballinafad Lough. Kinahan (1872, 12) recorded that 'when the water is low, a circle of stones, with a small island near its centre, is visible' and considered it to be the remains of 'some artificial structure, probably either a crannog or lake stone-dwelling'.
