Crannog in Derreenamackaun,gortaganny (frenchpark By.) is a crannog in Derreenamackaun,gortaganny (frenchpark By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It sits at the northwest end of the southeast arm of Errit Lough, where a submerged cairn appeared during lower water levels in 1988. A distinct area of reeds about fifteen meters across marks the site in the lake today.
At the NW end of the SE arm (dims. c. 1km NW-SE; c. 200-250m NE-SW) of Errit Lough. Described in 1988 when the water was lower as a submerged cairn (SMR file). An area of reeds (diam. c. 15m) is now visible in the lake. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
