What is recorded here

Crannog in Cornaseer sits eighty metres out in Cornaseer Lough, County Cavan, where large boulders still break the surface and timbers once protruded above the water. People may have built a room on those stones, lived through rain and darkness, then left the structure to rot into the lake. The water kept the shape long after the hands disappeared.

In Cornaseer Lough. A small number of large boulders are visible from the shoreline. Davies (ITA Survey 1942) noted a couple of timbers protruding above the water-level.
