Crannog in Ballydoolagh Lough is a medieval and early Christian water settlement in County Fermanagh, Ireland. It is a crannog, an artificial island or lake dwelling built among reeds and timber. People may have lived there, kept animals, prayed or hidden when danger came. The lough still holds the shape of that choice.
