Crannog in Aghnaloo is an artificial island habitat in County Fermanagh, built during the Medieval period. People likely stacked stones and soil above the water to create dry ground for housing, herding, or worship. The lake may have hidden the structure from enemies or simply gave the residents a view across open water.
