What is recorded here

Crane Island is a crannog in Lough Ramor, County Cavan, where a central mound rises three metres above the water after centuries of lived occupation. Its subrectangular shape, ninety metres long and forty metres wide, sits only thirty-seven metres from the shore, close enough to touch yet separated into its own defensive world. The rock-strewn beach around its edge may be the remains of a retaining structure, still holding the island’s margins against the lake’s patient erosion.
Crane Island is recorded as a islet in County Cavan. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
