Craig yr Wylfa is a sea cliff in Ceredigion, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and mudstone, formed around 440–420 million years ago during sedimentary deposition in a deep marine environment. The cliff is notable for its exposure of ancient volcanic and sedimentary rocks that are part of the Welsh Basin geological formation.
