Craig y Fan is a sea cliff located in Powys, composed primarily of Silurian-age volcanic and sedimentary rocks, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago through volcanic activity and subsequent marine sedimentation. It is notable for its exposure of ancient volcanic sequences, providing insight into the geological history of the Welsh Basin.
