Craig y Clipiau is a sea cliff located in Gwynedd, composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and volcanic rocks. These rocks formed around 440–420 million years ago through sedimentation and volcanic activity, and the cliff is notable for its exposure of ancient geological formations along the Welsh coast.
