Craig Nant y Fleiddast is a sea cliff or coastal rock feature composed of Silurian-aged volcanic and sedimentary rocks, formed around 440 to 420 million years ago during periods of volcanic activity and marine deposition. It is notable for representing part of the ancient volcanic terrain of the Welsh Borderland, which provides insight into the tectonic history of the region.
