Cracabhal rises to approximately 400 metres and is part of the rugged topography of the Outer Hebrides. Its name, derived from Scottish Gaelic, may relate to local folklore or descriptive features of the landscape. As a mapped peak in Na h-Eileanan Siar, it contributes to the region's geographical and cultural identity.
