What is recorded here

Famous regional landmark. Two very large boulders, The Cow (bigger) and The Calf (smaller and easy climb). Originally there was a Bull but it was quarried away. Rock climbing and scrambling.
The Cow and Calf are prominent glacial erratics located in the Peak District, historically significant as a natural landmark and popular rock climbing site. The feature derives its name from the two distinctive boulders, with the third, the Bull, removed for quarrying, highlighting early human interaction with the landscape.
