Court tomb in Shanvodinnaun, County Mayo, Ireland. Ruaidhrí de Valera and Seán Ó Nualláin documented the site in their Survey of the Megalithic Tombs of Ireland. Volume II. County Mayo. The court tomb holds dead people from before written history. Its stones still stand where human hands placed them.

Court tomb, dating to the Neolithic period (c. 3500–2500 BCE). These tombs are significant as some of the earliest monumental burial structures in Ireland, reflecting early communal burial practices and social organisation.
