Corsewall Castle Farm holds the ruined vaulted basement of a three-storey castle that stood on a brine hill behind a protective ditch. Alexander Campbell owned the house until ruin claimed it by 1684, leaving behind a spiralling staircase and a dark cattle fort where gold coins and a long cannon later surfaced. The land still brushes against history through a surviving World War 2 radio shell and the bright beam of Corsewall Lighthouse, proving that memory and warning still pulse along the coast.
