Corse Castle

Corse Castle is a medieval tower house located in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, and was likely built in the 15th or 16th century by a local landholding family, possibly the Maxwell or Johnstone clans, who were prominent in the region. It is remembered as an example of the defensive architecture used by Scottish border families during a period of frequent conflict.
