The sum of 9s 4D. was levied on 'Walter Browne, or same, one mill at Duitston [Tuitestown] (Cal. S.P. Ire., 624). The corn mill depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map may be located on the site of the medieval mill which formed part of the estate belonging to Walter Browne.
