Roadside, on NE side of Schull harbour. Small mid 19th century gable ended corn mill attached to E elev. of residence. Wooden launder carries headrace to overshot wooden water wheel on E elevation; iron flaunch and axle (diam. 4.36m; Wth 1.2m). Segment-wheel attached to wooden arms of wheel. Pinion shaft powers lying shelf operating a pair of millstones on 1st floor and sieve at ground level. Recently renovated. Carding Mill just E of Cornmill, along water's edge. Converted into residence. Part of head race channel survives.
