Corluddy Castle stands as a ruined tower house in County Kilkenny, its stones stripped of roof and purpose. The absence of a visible structure does not erase the fact that people built a defensible home there. They raised walls against rain, invasion and time, then left the work unfinished when life moved elsewhere. What remains is a boundary marker for human ambition, waiting for someone to notice the shape of what is gone.
