Two ancient forts press together in Ballynashee as if built by one frantic hand during a sudden storm. Their joined walls suggest people valued speed over elegance when danger arrived. The shape still resists explanation, inviting imagination about the choices made under pressure.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as CONJOINED RATHS. Recorded period: E.CHRIST.. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
