What is recorded here

Combestone Tor rises to approximately 275 metres and is composed primarily of Devonian slates and grits. It is part of the Dartmoor granite landscape, though the tor itself is a weathered outcrop above the granite. The area is of historical and geological interest due to its position within the Dartmoor National Park and its association with prehistoric remains in the region.
